djWHEAT sits with the pros to discuss Dreamhack Winter 2011, and more.
Being a total StarCraft n00b, Inside the Game has been my favorite show since we launched OneMoreGame.TV last month. Every week I'm walking away from the show with a little more insight, and I figure in another year or so I might actually be able to have a conversation with Wheat... assuming he hasn't switched to only speaking fluent Zerg at that point. But, because it's Tuesday, that means I'll get to walk away with a little more knowledge tonight - and hopefully you will too! With MLG right around the corner, djWHEAT and co-hosts IdrA, iNcontroL, and PainUser discuss how they prepare for tournaments and big matches, answer your e-mails, and take your calls. Inside the Game airs tonight at 11PM UTC / 7PM EDT / 4PM PDT and is brought to you by SteelSeries and Six Pool Gaming.
Right after Inside the Game, we're bringing you Day 3 of Week 4 of the Evil Geniuses Master’s Cup. Tonight will be casted by djWHEAT and PainUser, as they bring you commentary on all the matches of Evil Geniuses and ROOT Gaming. The Evil Geniuses Master’s Cup starts at 01AM UTC / 9PM EDT / 6PM PDT.

Immediately following tonight's show we'll be live broadcasting Day 3 of the Evil Geniuses Master's Cup where you'll get your second helping of djWHEAT and iNcontroL as they bring you all the action from tonight's matches featuring Sixjax Gaming as they square off against MYM! Only on OneMoreGame.TV!

Since the debut of OneMoreGame.TV just over two weeks ago I think it's safe to say that the number one question djWHEAT and I have received is, in some form: "Are the shows coming to iTunes?" The answer has always been "Yes... soon". We wanted to make sure we did this right for you guys. I know I'm not the only one out there that follows the shows via VOD and MP3. In my case, the showtimes just don't fit in with my work schedule, so I've always received my djWHEAT content via podcasts or VODs after the fact. One of my biggest wants, however, has always been that I could get the VODs on the go for those cases when an MP3 just doesn't tell the whole story. I'm a total Apple fanboy, so I like my video podcasts on my iPhone. And for those long trips or lunch breaks at work, I want to watch them on my iPad... in hi-def.
So the team and I have been playing around with some ideas on how to best handle all of this, and I'm happy to announce that this weekend we came to a final decision. Starting today, all of our shows will be available for download in iTunes in HD, SD, and MP3 formats (with the exception of Kings of Tin where an MP3 show just doesn't make sense)! For now, each show has several different feeds - but we have a request in with Apple to aggregate all 11 feeds into an artist page which will hopefully be up soon.
Oh, and don't worry - for those of you who aren't fans of getting your content through iTunes we also have straight-up RSS feeds for you to enjoy. Links after the jump!
Here at OneMoreGame.TV the team is constantly looking at ways that we can improve our shows, our site, and our content so we can deliver you an experience that is truly unparalleled in it's production. We're still in our infancy, but since our launch less than a month ago we've been hard at work doing whatever we can to make it easier for you to view our content and have an engaging platform to discuss the pro-gaming topics that matter. We've batted around the idea of forums internally, but we're admittedly just not there... yet. However, in an effort to give you a way to easily engage with us and others about the shows we've decided to launch Facebook pages for each of the shows. Unlike the OneMoreGame.TV page - which we use to promote news, contests, and announcements - these shows will be open to everyone to allow for discussion. We only ask that you keep it respectful so I can keep the moderation to a minimum... because I'm lazy.
I realize that this doesn't replace forums, and want you to know that we're still hard at work on doing those correctly. Facebook will simply serve as an intermediate step while we make sure we give you a forum experience worth showing up for. In the meantime, please feel free to use these pages as a place to discuss the shows, ask questions, and promote professional gaming! I'll do my best to engage and keep the crew checking them to answer your questions. Links after the jump!
So sometimes I'm on the ball with news (I like to surprise Scoots), and sometimes I'm not. But sometime's I'm SO on the ball that I jump the gun - and this is one of those times. Unfortunately, due to a conflict in travel arrangements, iNcontroL will NOT be available for tonight's Inside the Game. In addition, IdrA will be traveling to Europe and will not be available either, which means that I'm sorry to announce there will be no show tonight. I know, I know... I'm disappointed too. Still, we have an exciting night of the Evil Geniuses Master's Cup lined up for you, and this just means we'll have all that much more to talk about on next week's episode! My apologies for the bad news, but I promise we'll make it up to you next week.
UPDATE: In addition, the Evil Geniuses Master’s Cup will be beginning one hour later than usual. This puts us live at 01AM UTC / 9PM EDT / 6PM PDT. Adjust your schedules accordingly!
Join djWHEAT, PainUser, IdrA, and iNcontroL tonight for another episode of Inside the Game. The gang will be discussing the changes to the GSL Season 3 map pool, their predictions for MLG Anaheim, then taking your questions live during our open phones section. This is the last Inside the Game before MLG this weekend, so be sure not to miss it!
